Our patients testify
Which pathologies are treated by medical acupuncture?
Overweight and obesity
Acupuncture restores the body's natural balance by exerting an influence on the endocrine systems that regulate it, and helps reduce feelings of hunger. More than 20 years of research and scientific studies have demonstrated that the Sinomedica Shou Shen® program, combining weekly acupuncture sessions and a diet, is effective in helping patients to reach their ideal weight without feeling hungry.
Stress, anxiety and burnout
In cases of stress-related symptoms like sleep disorders, anxiety and concentration problems, but also when it comes to serious conditions such as burnout and depression, acupuncture helps significantly reduce symptoms and bring better balance. In general, it makes one feel better and uplifted, improving quality of life.
Pain
Acupuncture acts as a natural pain reliever without side effects. It is effective in treating many chronic pain conditions: postoperative pain, headaches and migraines, neck pain, chronic low back pain, dysmenorrhea, gonarthrosis, cancer pain, childbirth pain, acute low back pain, fibromyalgia, and carpal tunnel syndrome.
Integrated oncology
As a supportive treatment for cancer diseases, acupuncture reduces chemotherapy and radiation therapy side effects (nausea, vomiting, pain, anxiety, and fatigue), helps to better cope with a difficult situation psychologically, and to regain mental and physical balance.
Women's health
Acupuncture is useful in improving women's living conditions at every stage, bringing benefits in menstrual pain, irregular cycle, premenstrual syndrome, endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome, problems during pregnancy, postpartum depression, and menopausal disorders.
