Lightly toast a tablespoon of cumin seeds in a pan without adding fat. Mix the toasted cumin seeds, a drizzle of olive oil, a teaspoon of turmeric, common salt and ground pepper in a bowl.
Add this mixture to the chopped cauliflower and bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes at 180-200 degrees. You can increase the oven temperature the last 5 minutes to brown the vegetables, but be careful not to burn them. They should remain slightly crisp.
